据IARPA官网1月11日消息，IARPA启动天基机器自动识别技术（SMART）计划。SMART计划将自动进行多源卫星图像的广域搜索，以检测、监视和表征动态过程（例如重型建筑或农作物生长）的进程。该计划将使用海量图像和机器学习技术来扩展图像分析能力，并提升对人为活动和自然变化的监控能力。
